Abstract : Multimedia artist Hye Yeon Nam will present her artistic research on machines, nature, and sustainability. Her work brings together digital fabrication and environmental data to explore how technology and organic growth can become active collaborators in artistic production. Through recent projects, Nam will consider how computational systems can support more sustainable forms of making, sensing, and environmental engagement. The talk proposes new ways to understand artistic practice in relation to contemporary technology, ecological awareness, and environmental change.
