Akeem Pedro is a research professor specializing in technology-enhanced learning, with a focus on how Virtual Reality (VR) and digital technologies can make education more effective, engaging, and impactful. Previously, he worked as a researcher at Imperial College London and Chung-Ang University where he explored metaverse platforms, digital twin systems, and informatics solutions for educational and industrial applications. Currently, he is a research professor in the Department of Art & Technology at Sogang University. Akeem is also a multidisciplinary creative with broad interests spanning movement, music, meditation, multimodal artistic expression and the development of new interfaces for musical expression.
