Hyejin Kwon is a researcher in music education with a particular interest in integrating traditional Korean music with emerging technologies. Her work explores the pedagogical potential of AI, virtual reality, and metaverse platforms in music appreciation and teacher education. She aims to recontextualize the educational value of traditional music through digital tools that foster learner engagement and creativity. Her recent studies include the development of AI-based digital textbooks, VR-based Korean music appreciation programs, and policy research on traditional music education in local communities. She is currently a researcher at the Future Lab of Sogang University, where she seeks to bridge cultural heritage and future-oriented educational innovation.
