Foundations of Human-Computer Interaction

This course introduces principles and methods for human-computer interaction design. Human-computer interaction (HCI) is a multidisciplinary field of study focusing on the design of interaction between humans and computers based on cognitive science, social science, and design. This course will focus on how the properties of the interface can be designed to serve the needs of the user and our society. Students will use prototyping tools to build functional prototypes3⁄4 and evaluate them.
