AI Media Lab (http://medialab.sogang.ac.kr/) provides project-oriented creative education and training methods for students wishing to earn a degree in media engineering and arts engineering. Professors and students work together as a team. AR, and VR, and research on media engineering to create a new medium, and to build a dynamic mixed space that enables them to experience nature and social phenomena using them. Recent developments include artificial rainbows, 3D water droplet shaping, fog screen holograms, and bubble shaping currently under development. The Sogang Media Lab is using the various physical materials of nature to present the environment-friendly media to the masses who are tired of digital expression and use it as ‘medium’ which breaks the boundaries between virtual space and reality space.
